-my friends say i'm foolish, maybe its true

-but i still think your voice is the most wonderful sound

-You think i' dumb but you used me and i knew

Writing

 

Highlights of the Fourth Grade

 

 

            The Fourth Grade was definitely a whole new experience for me.  We went on a ton of field trips that I enjoyed a great deal.  We also wrote a bundle of writing pieces.  The fourth and third grades were much different.  I also completed M.C.A.S. this year.  This year was definitely an experience I will never forget,

            In the fourth grade we went on countless field trips.  We went to The Nutcracker.  The Nutcrackers music was very pleasant, but the dancing was even better.  The dancers were like butterflies whisking through the grass.  We went to the Omni Theater this year.  We went to see an Egypt move, and after that we went to see the other Egypt exhibits.  We also went to the John Adams Nursing Home for Halloween.  We dressed up in our costumes and got candy.  We went on other field trips as well.  My fourth grade field trips will never be forgotten.

            In the fourth grade we wrote countless writing pieces.  We wrote numerous poems during the fourth grade year, we wrote poems like bees make honey.  We wrote poems ranging from alliteration to rhythm.  We also wrote a long composition on my best friend.  I wrote about my friend Joey.  We also wrote for a contest called What the American Flag means to me.  The entire class wrote and entered it into the contest.  The fourth grade writing assignments are ones I shall never forget.

            The Fourth grade was definitely much different from the third grade.  My teacher was different.  Last year my teacher was as hard as a rock.  I once had two writing assignments going on at once.  The class rules were different.  This year we have breaks to get a drink or to go to the bathroom.  In my last years class we had signs saying where we were and we could get drinks whenever we wanted.  The fourth grade was different from last year.

            This year we had to do M.C.A.S.  The M.C.A.S. was pretty tough.  I had to write what I did over a snow day.  It took me about two hours to finish the test.  I had to keep going back and checking it.  Half way through we had a snack break to eat and drink.  The M.C.A.S. will be a test I shall never forget.

            The fourth grade is a time in my life I will never forget.  The field trips were a blast for me.  The writing really tested my limits.  The differences from third grade were very noticeable.  The M.C.A.S. was really hard.  The fourth grade is a certain time in my life that is impossible to forget.
